My experience
On this project, I learnt how hard animations are and how much harder a sci-fi and fantasy animation is to sound design. The most interesting part was learning how to create sounds for things that didn't exist, then making a note of those for future reference.
For the trailer, it was interesting using my creative experience to determine when dialogue and SFX needed to be realistic to the environment or not, depending on what we needed to stand out in the trailer.
My particular favourite parts of this project was working with bass frequencies, creating an ‘epic’ feel for the trailer, and working on the sound design for the character fighting Sel (the main character) partway through the trailer.
